of things to come -- 02

Good afternoon! Josh here. I just wanted to give you guys a little heads up on some neat little tidbits I have lined up here on the blog and to share some general thoughts. Unfortunately I should disclose that I don’t want to share too much information with you thereby spoiling something I would consider valuable.
First order of business; we have a interesting interview coming up with a good friend of mine who has recently been recovering from addiction. I expressed interest in writing a piece about his struggles and how his experience could provide some insight for other people. He ardently obliged. We have a a good portion of the day planned out so that we can just have a natural flowing conversation and I am excited to bring that to you and to help my friend get some weight off his chest so-to-speak.
Here’s another tidbit I am going to dust off really quick. Caitlyn and I are sharing music playlists together and it has been really fun. I love seeing what other people are listening to, especially if we have complimentary tastes in music. That’s not to say that we have the exact same taste in music, because as far as I can tell we surely don’t. There is almost a culture behind the “playlist”, the modern mixtape. Maybe that will be something that we explore in the near future (Oh! I’ve got to write that down for later). Anyhow, I am derailing my own train of thought! Caitlyn and I will be analyzing our music selections and we’ll dive deep into the heart of the music. We’re listening to Hozier, who I haven’t really ever taken the time to listen to outside of what I might hear on the radio. I look forward to our ensuing conversation about his new EP, Nina Cried Power. I have yet to finish my first complete run through of the EP and I will probably keep it on repeat for another day or two, but I am enjoying it thus far. I encourage you to listen along and join the conversation!
Well that about wraps in up for me at the moment. With our next post I plan to have either one of these projects done and ready for you. Remember to go outside today and if anyone gives you shit, tell them to bug off and that you do what you want.
